These terms apply to every booking made with Gear & Adventure (“we”, “us”), Rohini, North West Delhi 110086, through this website, WhatsApp, phone or in person.
1. Booking and payment
Bookings are made and confirmed on WhatsApp (+91 92057 50691). Your seat is confirmed once the advance (booking amount) shown for the trip is paid; we share payment details on WhatsApp. The balance is due by the date given for each trip, and always before the trip begins. Nothing is charged on this website.
2. Prices
Prices are in Indian rupees. Each price shows its basis beside it: per person, for two, or per package, and whether 5% GST is included or added. Private-trip prices are examples from recent quotes; your price is confirmed for your group and dates.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Set out in our cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. What we provide
The services listed under “What’s included” on each trip page. Anything listed under “Not included”, and anything not mentioned, is at your own cost.
5. Terms and conditions
- The advance amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Full payment of the trip cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending payments may lead to the cancellation of the trip.
- IDs are verified before boarding. No one boards without a valid government ID.
- Bookings cannot be transferred. Only the names given at the time of confirmation can travel.
- No refunds are made for any inclusion not used by the traveller.
- Travellers look after their own luggage and belongings. Gear & Adventure is not responsible for items lost on the tour.
- Departure times are fixed. Keep the trip coordinators updated and report at the pickup point 30 minutes before departure.
- The air conditioning is switched off in the hills, and the driver may switch it off whenever needed for safety on uneven or difficult roads.
- Mountain travel and trekking carry risks, including injury, altitude sickness and bad weather. By joining, you accept these risks and agree to follow our staff’s guidance at all times.
- We may change the route, stays or itinerary at short notice because of weather, local rules or unforeseen events. Changes will be of similar quality and we will tell you promptly.
- Drinking and smoking are not allowed during the journey, for the health and safety of fellow passengers.
- Misconduct or indiscipline is not tolerated on our tours. We are a cordial travel community.
- Gear & Adventure is not responsible for delays, changes or extra costs caused by natural hazards, accidents, breakdowns, weather, landslides, political closures or other untoward incidents.
- Unless a trip says otherwise, we do not provide insurance for sickness, accidents, theft or other losses.
- Where necessary we may transfer your booking to another like-minded travel company offering similar services and experiences.
- If we must change your accommodation at short notice, the alternative will be of a similar category or better, and we will tell you promptly.
