Cancellation & refunds

Gear & Adventure policy

The booking amount (advance) is non-refundable under any circumstances. The rest of the trip cost must be paid before the trip begins, by the date given for each trip; pending payments can lead to the booking being cancelled.

  • The advance is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Full payment of the trip cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending payments may lead to the cancellation of the trip.
  • Bookings cannot be transferred. Only the names given at confirmation can travel.
  • No refunds are made for inclusions you do not use.

Applies to: Winter Spiti, Kainchi Dham & Nainital Weekend, Kashmir in Winter, Meghalaya & Kaziranga, Jibhi & Tirthan Valley, Kainchi Dham, Nainital & Mukteshwar, Udaipur & Jaipur Honeymoon.

When the balance is due

  • Winter Spiti: booking amount ₹5,000 per seat; balance 7 days before the trip.
  • Kainchi Dham & Nainital Weekend: full payment before the trip begins.
  • Kashmir in Winter: booking amount ₹5,000 per seat; balance 7 days before the trip.
  • Meghalaya & Kaziranga: booking amount ₹5,000 per seat; balance 7 days before the trip.
  • Jibhi & Tirthan Valley: full payment before the trip begins.
  • Private trips: advance and balance as given in your quote.

Changes to the trip

Weather, road conditions and local rules can change a route at short notice. Any change is made for safety and comfort, and alternatives are of a similar standard. Costs caused by events beyond our control, such as landslides or road closures, are not covered by the package.
